Hate soars: xenophobia

Since the Brexit poll result there has been a surge in reports of verbal and physical attacks on Europeans – both from ‘old’ and ‘new’ Europe. There have been attacks on cars in Central London simply because they were made in Germany, and even abuse of a Welshman perceived to be speaking in a foreign accent.
